To make your own detergent or cleaning solution, you can grate the soap and store it in a jar. Add a tablespoon of grater to the warm water for each dish washing or cleaning. Or, alternatively, you can just throw the soap into the water and take it out when you have enough foam, it's that simple!

As a stain stick:
This soap is the ultimate stain stick. Wet one corner of the soap and rub it over the stain, rub the fabric together to work the soap further, and toss the garment in the washing machine.
 
To make a gentle exfoliating cleanser:
If you want a ready-to-use gentle scrub cleaner, grate about ½ cup of this homemade soap and combine it with 1 cup of baking soda. Transfer to a jar with a shaker top (such as an old jar of grated parmesan cheese) and sprinkle on the surfaces before cleaning. Use a wet sponge to work this cleaner into surfaces to create a foaming soft scrub.
