Grapes: 100% Cesanese di Affile
Appearance: Ruby red
Tasting Notes: Red fruits and spices, pepper, cherry and blackcurrant. Light in color, medium bodied, great drinkability.
Vinification: fermented in stainless steel tanks at temperatures kept within 25 °C to preserve the characteristic aromas of Celanese. Fermentation and maceration lasts for about 6 days. Not filtered neither clarified. No sulphites added.
Aged: Silene ages in concrete vats for about one year and after bottling it rests in our cellar for further 6 months.
